Tony and Kathy Holmes came to Cobar in 1982 and Tony worked at Brennan Brothers Hardware, Cobar Bowling and Golf Club, Cobar Parks and Gardens and the CSA Mine. Kathy worked at the Commonwealth Bank as a teller then later at the Barrier Motel and the Cobar Weekly. Tony developed and patented the Wobble-Tee sprinkler while living in Cobar and started distributing sprinklers via the local Landmark store in Cobar, then Bourke, Brewarrina, Dubbo. Mitre 10 Distribution began through Cobar, Dubbo, Broken Hill and Tamworth.

The current Wobble-Tee Sprinklers that you see today have changed somewhat from their original sprinklers and they are now sold through every major hardware outlet Australia wide.

After the closure of the CSA Mine in 1998 Tony Kathy and their three daughters moved back to their hometown of Newcastle, to Wangi Wangi where they now live and run the Wobble-Tee business.

The Wobble-Tee Sprinkler has undergone extensive redevelopment and testing to achieve outstanding even water distribution at a varying range of pressures. Recently Wobble-Tee won the 2012 Consumer Product of the Year Award granted by Smart WaterMark, a national water watchdog for water efficient products.
