This great program launched on World Water Day, March 22, 2020. Smart Approved WaterMark and the Alliance for Water Stewardship offers householders like you the chance to become Water Stewards.

• Water Stewards use water efficiently
• Water Stewards choose environmentally friendly products
• Water Stewards are careful about what they put into the sewerage system
• Water Stewards take action to protect our rivers, waterways and the oceans

How can you become a Water Steward Household?

One member of each household can take a free and simple online survey and based on their score they are eligible for one of 4 Water Steward labels to place on their letterbox or window.

How can businesses support this program?

We were very fortunate to have Bunnings Warehouse support the launch of this initiative in 400 stores around the country. They shared the link to the program in flyers in their store and even set up tables of water smart products including some of the certified Smart Approved WaterMark products we certify.
