LoRaWAN based wireless soil moisture sensor for measurement on different 'single' depths or multiple depths. To be used in agriculture, horticulture and landscaping/smart cities applications. When the soil moisture percentage is kept in the right window (not too dry, not too wet - thresholds differ per soil type), the soil keeps the right properties to hold water. Soil which is too dry becomes hydrophobic and soil which is too wet will wash out water and nutrients.
