6 star water efficient flow controllers
Flow rates for flow controllers are expressed on the water rating label by litres by minute.
The most water efficient flow controllers have a 6 star WELS rating.
Testing
Flow controllers are tested for:
• endurance tests 50,000 on/off cycles
• flow rate at 150, 250 and 350 kPa (kilo Pascals, a measure of pressure)
• nominal flow rate
• water consumption.
