Not drought tolerant. Dense rounded deciduous shrub. Leaves are obovate shaped, green above and bluish green beneath. In autumn, the leaves turn orange and red. Flowers are pale yellow with a red tinge and roughly 1cm long. These flowers are produced on the branches in mid-spring and are followed by red fruit. Plant is roughly 1m tall and 2.5m wide.
