Cedrus deodora

This tree is shaped like a cone with spreading branches and dark brown bark. The leaves are needle-like, roughly 4-5cm long, bright green in colour and produced in whorls of 20-30. Female cones are barrel-shaped, green at first but then they ripen to brown. This tree grows to roughly 40m tall and 10m wide. This plant is not drought tolerant.
