Bergenia x schmidtii

Originating in central eastern Asia, vigorous plant with obovate to obovate-elliptic green leaves. Leaves are roughly 25cm long and narrowed at the base, with toothed margins. Flowers are bright rose-pink. They are produced in panicle-like cyms in late winter and early spring. Plant is roughly 30cm tall and 60cm wide.
