Evergreen variable shrub (1.5m x 1.5m) from arid areas of all states of Australia. Linear to ovate leaves. Tubular flowers in a long curving peduncle in variable colour including pink, mauve, red, orange or yellow with a spotted throat in spring. Many good forms available as grafted specimens. Prefers a dry climate and well drained sandy soil. Drought tolerant.
