This plant is a climber. Leaves are 4-7cm long, obovate, leathery, glossy and green in colour. Flowers are green and are borne in small cymes opposite the leaves. Flowering occurs in summer and is followed by the production of glossy, black berries. Cissus striata grows to about 10m tall. Soil needs to be well-drained. Cissus Striata likes to be in a sun-shade exposure, and needs occasionnaly water.
