Clump forming perennial grass (0.8m x 0.5m) from all states of Australia (including ACT). Dark green linear leaves forming tufts. Blue flowers with yellow centres on tall multi-branched inflorescences in spring. Purple berries in summer. Useful mass planted for texture and colour contrast, as a border with other grasses or understorey. Bird attracting. Shade tolerant. Frost tolerant.
