Evergreen bushy shrub (1.5m x 1.5m) from China. Glossy elliptic bright green leaves. Fragrant white flowers 10-12cm diameter in summer. Useful for its fragrance close to the house, as a hedge or container plant. Prefers partial shade in moist, well drained acid loam. Protect from wind.
