Erect to spreading shrub or small tree with obovate, yellow to green leaves. These are 7-13cm long and have irregular margins. Flowers are pink to reddish brown, light brown, purple or yellow in colour and are borne from summer to autumn. Dodonaea viscosa grows to about 5m high and 3m wide.
