A small spreading feature tree from the Mediterranean region up to 10m high. Its claim to landscape fame is the red flowers appearing in spring before the pretty heart shaped leaves appear. The leaves go from bronze to blue green and turn yellow in Autumn. This is a spreading tree, often with many stems.
