Eucalyptus calophylla

Medium to large tree. Flowers are cream or pink or red in colour. Flowering occurs in summer and autumn. Eucalyptus calophylla grows to about 40m high. It produces large nuts that carry seeds that provide an important food source for some species of parrots including cockatoos. Require well drained soils, and is drought tolerant once established.
