Originating in south eastern Australia, this is a reliable and compact dense flowering dwarf shrub. Wide-spreading shrub with reddish brown stems. Its leaves are oval, about 3.5cm long and green in colour. Its flowers are tubular, resembling bells, and red in colour. These are about 2.5cm long, and are borne in clusters from autumn to spring. Correa 'Dusky Bells' grows to about 30-90cm tall and 1.5-3m wide. This plant is a nectar source for birds.
