Low spreading plant with smooth greyish brown stems. Leaves are silvery grey and are often clasping the stems. They are orbicular shaped. Flowers are quite large (7.5 cm across) and are bright red to pink and sometimes pale yellow, they. The fruits are small and woody, and contain dark brown seeds. Eucalyptus rhodantha grows to about 4m high. Attractive to birds and other nectar feeders. Likes a warm climate and a sunny position.
