Medium sized, hardy, evergreen shrub. Leaves are light green in colour. Bottle-brush scarlet red flowers are observed from late spring to summer. Callistemon rugulosus grows to a height of about 1m and a width of 2m. Plants grown in full sun produce the best flowers. Plants can be lightly pruned after flowering to keep them in shape.
