Evergreen tree. Leaves are arching, pale olive-green in colour and grow to about 60cm. Leaves on the surfaces that receive full sunlight are orange-brown in colour. The flowers are cylindrical in shape and brown in colour. They appear as spikes which grow on stems to 2.5cm long. Flowering occurs in mid-summer, the stems later produce fruit. This plant is roughly 1.5m tall and 60cm wide. This plant is not drought tolerant.
