Warm season creeping grass particularly suitable for hot, humid conditions. Commercial variety 'Emerald Grass' is a cultivar crossed with Zoysia Japonica. Zoysia is recommended as a drought tolerant, weed and disease resistant, slow growing and relatively sustainable lawn. It will require dethatching and is native to the northern regions of Australia.
